"Last night I completed Lifelines 101. I certainly enjoyed each segment and those that led them. That’s why I’ve copied them on this email – to let them know I appreciate the good job they did. Even though I’ve been a Christian for 43 years and have been on staff at SBC churches and worked for the SBC Executive Committee for 12 years, I still think it’s a great idea to have the Lifelines program and make at least 101 a prerequisite for certain types of service. "I was also wondering if I could get a copy of the CD's to keep for my personal library, because I really learned so much from the many questions I have had over the years as a believer. The CD's were the PERFECT resource for me, as I spend at least two hours in my car commuting to and from work. It gave me the opportunity to complete something necessary in my spiritual life to help me grow and feel confident in the decisions I have made through the work of the Holy Spirit's presence in my life. On a more personal note, I was raised in the Catholic faith until my late 20's, and the CD's helped to explain the many questions I had (or had been asked by members of my family and friends) over the years. The CD's answered questions regarding baptism, and the Lord's Supper, and other topics of discussion in a very simple and easy to understand way; a way that I could explain to someone else in the future. Even though I acted in faith in getting baptised by immersion at Two Rivers Baptist Church in 1992 after being saved in 1991, the CD's really explained the process in a way that I can take and share with others who may be going through the same type of spiritual conviction.
